  1. It probably will be better to show the current pension including DA of 125% and comparing it with 7th CPC. For eg: some one drawing a basic pension currently say Rs20,000 is actually drawing Rs45,000.&th CPC the amount is approximately Rs51,0000. The difference is just Rs10,000 over the 6th CPC that took place a decade ago.

    1. @Abe : We may not require a table or chart. That the 2.57 times increase will give everyone an approximately fourteen percent increase over the December take home pension can be known with a simple calculation.

  2. Multiply your basic pension as on 31/12/2015(As given in OROP tables)by 2.57. That will be your new pension as per 7th CPC as on 01/01/2016. Example 1 - X gp Hav with 24 yrs qualifying service(QS),pension as per OROP table No 7 is 9793. His new pension as on 01 Jan 16 will be 9792*2.57=25168. Example 2 - Y gp Subedar with QS 30 yrs 12690*2.57=32613. Rest wait for the Gazette Notification for the def forces which is yet to be published.
