Why the Guesswork Concordance Tables Have not considered 3rd CPC Pensions

Some queries on the Guesswork Concordance tables

There are some observations, after a delayed interval, that the Guesswork concordance tables published elsewhere in this blog should have taken into consideration the 3^rd CPC pensions.

The Standard Pension Rate was One Pension for the Same Rank Irrespective of the Years of Service, (which is not the same as One Rank, Same Number of Years of Service, One Pension as some ESM have continued to misinform).

Standard Pension Rate prior to 3^rd CPC was as follows: -

14.     In accordance with the above principles, 3^rd CPC  recommended the following Standard Pension Rates for Service officers after provision of the DCR Gratuity: -

Based on reasonable differentials, the 3^rd CPC recommended for the officers on the Special List in the Army and on the Special Duties List of the Navy, the following Standard Pension Rates:

15.     In view of the revised scales proposed by the 3^rd CPC for officers of the Military Nursing Service, the following rates of standard retiring pensions were recommended:

Informed readers would be aware that the practice of Standard Pension Rate  prevailed before and after the 3^rd CPC.The Standard Rate did not take into consideration any increments. 

The 50% of the average of 36 months pay prior to date of retirement or death came into being from the 4^th CPC. Hence, the Guesswork Concordance tables take into consideration the annual increments which determined the pay drawn and therefore affected the pensions.
