Group A officers seems to be having gala time. No one knows how many are drawing pension. May be number of Group A serving also not known . then how can amount catered for NFU be known like brought out in one of your post. ..
ReplyDeleteMy god the 1300 odd pensioners from IAS/IFS/IPS are all drawing an average pension (65000 to 75000), more than or equal to a pre 2006 Maj Gen. Do the PM and more so the FM realise the damage they are doing to their personal reputations with each passing day. Not that it matters to us any longer. SHAMELESS PEOPLE is all I can tell Mr Jaitley & Mr Modi
DeleteBased on above the average pension of IAS,IFS & IPS work out to be 57474,61427,
ReplyDelete60606 respectively. It is interesting to note that average pension of IPS is more than IAS.
I wonder what would be the average pension of all Services officers put to gether.
pre OROP & Post OROP THis information would have been very useful to the VII PC also
Sir, the data as furnished could be a little misleading at first glance. The annotation "Figures in Thousands" appears alongside "Details of Major and Minor Head". Does it also relate to the other figures? Surely, there aren't just 745 IAS pensioners in the country, as the data provided suggests.
ReplyDeleteTo all,
ReplyDelete"Figure in Thousands" applies to Para 7 only.
RTI filed with DESW requesting the information. Will take some time
Data (5 pages) available on CPAO website.
it appears that the number of IAS pensioner are only 745., That means less than 15 IAS officers retire every year on the average. In the case of IFS the figure is even low.
ReplyDeletewhereas the number of Service officers retiring every year is comparitively huge.
no wonder the alarms.
