Unfounded rumours about whether Resolutions 1 (E) and 2(E)
dated 05 Sep 2016 apply to Pay and/or Pension are doing the rounds.
This was the sequence that was subsequent to GoI approval of
the 6th CPC report: -
Civilians
(1) GoI Resolution No. 1/1/2008-IC dated 29 Aug 2008 for Civilian
employees,
(2) CCS Rules (2008) for Pay of civilians vide GSR 622 (E)
dated 29 Aug 2008
(3) Pension notification vide No. 38/37/08- P & PW (A)
dated 29 Aug 2008
(4) Post 1.1.2006 pension notification issued 02 Sep 2008
(5) Pre-2006 pensions notification vide No. 38/37/2008 –
P&PW (A) – Pt I dated 24 Oct 2008
Armed Forces
(1) MoD resolutions 1 (E) and 2 (E) dated 30 Aug 2008
(2) SAI 1/S/2008 and 2/S/2008 issued on 11 Oct 2008
(3) Pensions orders for post 1.1.2006 retirees issued on 05
Dec 2008 and the PCDA (P) Circulars thereafter.
So relax and await SAI 1/S/2016 and 2/S/2016 for pay and subsequent
orders for Pensions.
Please also read Resolutions date 06 Aug 2016 for Civilians Pensions instead of speculating on OROP will apply or not. There are
two examples taken from the 7 CPC report for 2015 and 1989 retirees and their
pension fixation post 7th CPC.

Sir, the Resolution and Office memorandum dated 04 Aug 2016 for civilian pensioners skips the matrix index based pension fitment. That manner of pension fixation is a great deal more critical for armed force pensioners. As you have so clearly pointed out, ESM should be prepared for a long drawn out process. http://goo.gl/oXwF3M
