I have tried to validate the table below by 2 live examples

Example 1 : Rank: Wg Cdr; Date of Commission: 17 Dec 1994; Pay received in the pay band on 31 Mar 14: Rs 47590 + Grade Pay Rs 8000 + MSP Rs 6000 = Rs 61590

Example 2: Rank: Wg Cdr; Date of Commission: 04 Apr 1992; Pay received in the pay band on 31 Mar 14: Rs 50980 + Grade Pay Rs 8000 + MSP Rs 6000 = Rs 64980.   

DA & other allowances have not been added.

Example 1:  It could be inferred that corresponding to year in rank 7 (Y7), or 20 years of service, the officer is drawing Rs 61590 and pension if the officer retires would be Rs 30795.

Example 2: It could be inferred that corresponding to year in rank 9 (Y9), or 22 years of service, the officer is drawing Rs 64980 and pension if the officer retires would be Rs 332490.

Therefore, Year 10 (Y10) would correspond to 23 years of service, Year 11 (Y 11) would correspond to 24 years of service and so on.
