Dear Maj C N Anand, Thanks for your email. Here is an response from the
Defence Ministry has in a high-level meeting with the Finance
Ministry recently raised the bill for the implementation of the One
Rank One Pension scheme. The Finance Ministry gives the money to the
Defence Ministry for the implementation. The actual disbursement of
the money comes under the Defence Ministry. The story doesn't say that the
money has been disbursed to pensioners. It says that the bill for the payments
has been raised with the Finance Ministry.
reader can be reassured that now that the money has been claimed by the
Defence Ministry it will be disbursed too soon i hope."
